The new feature we discovered in the “LINE” for Android app v15.16.2 is the ability to “pin” individual messages. While LINE already allows users to pin entire conversations with friends to the top of their chat list, this new function will enable them to pin up to five specific messages within a chat thread.

This means that by pinning important messages, users will no longer need to scroll back or search for them. For some users, this may be a long-awaited feature.

Although this message pinning feature was discovered in the internal code of the “LINE” for Android app v15.16.2, it is expected to be rolled out across all versions of the “LINE” app, including for desktop, Android, and iOS.
