It appears that five new widgets will be added to the Android version of the “Google Translate” app.

Following an analysis of the in-app code for the version v10.5.41 update of the Google Translate app for Android, released on Friday, February 13, 2026, the addition of descriptions related to five new widgets has been confirmed.

<string name="aag_widget_clipboard_description">Translate text from your clipboard</string>

The five widgets to be added to the Android Google Translate app are “Clipboard,” “Dictation,” “Lens,” “Open Mic,” and “Speak Easy.” However, as only English code has been identified so far and no Japanese code has been confirmed, it is expected that these will initially roll out in English-speaking regions such as the United States.

Currently, the Android version of the “Google Translate” app offers two widgets: “Quick Actions” and “Saved Translations.” With the addition of these five new ones, the variety will expand to a total of seven widgets.
