The main points of evolution for the “Pixel 10a” compared to the “Pixel 9a” are the cover glass, Bluetooth, and fast charging performance. The cover glass has been upgraded from Corning Gorilla Glass 3 to Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, Bluetooth from v5.3 to v6.0, and fast charging capacity from a maximum of 23W to 45W. Other specs such as the camera, display, processor, and memory remain equivalent to the “Pixel 9a.”
As previously rumored, the color variations will consist of four options: the black-toned “Obsidian,” the white-toned “Fog,” the blue-toned “Lavender,” and the red-toned “Berry.” Additionally, according to the leaked EU retailer data, the “Pixel 10a” will be priced at €499 for the 128GB model.
While the “Pixel 10a” does see improvements in several areas over the “Pixel 9a,” it cannot be called a major evolution. The specifications suggest more of a minor update.
However, it could still be a good choice for “Pixel 9a” users to trade in their devices and switch to the “Pixel 10a.” That said, the announcement timing and other details for the Japanese domestic version of the “Pixel 10a” have not yet been clarified.
