“Ask Photos” is an AI-integrated search feature that allows you to search for photos through natural conversations with “Gemini,” asking things like, “Where did we go camping before?” or “What food did I order on our last trip?” Google Photos (Ask Photos) understands the context and background within your gallery, extracts relevant details, and suggests them as specific “memories,” helping you vividly recall moments from your life.

Additionally, on the new-generation Google Pixel “Pixel 10” series devices in the U.S., the AI photo editing feature “Help me edit,” which works via prompts, is also being rolled out in the Android Google Photos app.
