「Google の電話アプリ」の「詐欺検出」はまだ日本 / 日本語向けに展開は開始されていませんが、2025 年 10 月上旬に配信された「Google の電話アプリ」v194.0.813798200-publicbeta-pixel アップデートのアプリ内コードから、「詐欺検出（Scam Detection）」関連機能の記述における日本語記述が発見されていました。これにより「詐欺検出」の日本 / 日本語向け展開の可能性が高まったものの、まだ展開はされていません。
そんな中、2025 年 10 月 31 日（金）前後に配信された「Google の電話アプリ」v198.0.825722674-publicbeta-pixel2025 アップデートのアプリ内コードを解析した結果、「詐欺検出」の日本 / 日本語展開に関する新たな動きを確認しました。「詐欺検出（Scam Detection）」、現段階では記述が削除され、新たに「不正検出（Fraud detection）」として記述が追加されました。
しかも、以前の「詐欺検出」から、「不正検出」では大幅に記述内容も拡充されています。
