さかのぼること 1 年半前の 2024 年 4 月頃、Google Pixel タブレット「Pixel Tablet」のロック画面に、突如手書きツール系ショートカットアイコンが追加されました。
その後この手書きツール系ショートカットアイコンは、Google メモサービス「Google Keep」のものということが判明。しかしその後この「Pixel Tablet」のロック画面からアクセスできる「Google Keep」手書きツールは、2025 年 10 月上旬現在も正式展開されていません。
そんな中、2025 年 10 月 1 日（水）に配信された Android 版「Google Keep」アプリ v5.25.382.04.90 アップデートのアプリ内コードから、この「Pixel Tablet」ロック画面からアクセスできる「Google Keep」手書きツールに関する記述が削除されたことを、当サイト独自調査にて発見しました。「Pixel Tablet」ロック画面からアクセスできる「Google Keep」手書きツール、正式展開されることなく廃止された模様です。
